The Department of Commerce’s Wine Institute recently released 2012’s statistics regarding the current state of the wine industry, in conjunction with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. The United States consumes about 330 million cases of wine annually, with Chardonnay leading the pack as the most produced type of wine. Winery owners across the country, with the majority in California, are recognizing the emergence of elements that hinder their ability to produce enough grapes to meet the market’s demand.

The state of California makes up 61 percent of the total market share in the United States. While these west coast wineries have seen great success in recent years, disturbances such as spider mites and powdery mildew have greatly contributed to the demise of many once-healthy harvests. Winery owners across the country, and most certainly in California, lose thousands of dollars each and every month that their crop is destroyed by an infestation which prohibits grape production.

Not only do pests such as powdery mildew and spider mites kill current crops, they also restrict the vineyard’s ability to grow new harvest. As a vineyard owner, worry circulates not only protecting harvests, but also using the most safe and effective technology to do so. In an effort to reflect the massive hole in the winery market, Growers Trust has applied groundbreaking technology to organically develop both Powdery Mildew Killer and Spider Mite Killer.

Both products were formulated using 100 percent organic, all natural chemicals. Through the use of non-toxic, laboratory tested chemicals, when applying these advanced products to vineyard crop, the results are seen immediately. As grape production continues to decline, vineyard owners must actively seek a solution to these infestations that greatly reduce potential profits.

Growers Trust has created the most dependable method of vineyard protection available to winery owners today. When it comes to grape production and an owner’s livelihood, no infestation should stand in the way of profits. As wine sales continue to surge, winery owners are forced boost production levels to service the country, which in turn creates a substantial profit. However, without the protection from Powdery Mildew Killer and Spider Mite Killer, production levels are significantly reduced.
